RWEA CALENDAR OF EVENTS FOR 2012
- 17-18 January, Wind Power Romania organized by Green Power Conferences at JW Marriot Bucharest is at its 2nd edition and has full RWEA support. It is a business and networking oriented conference with a small exhibition, featuring quality speakers and good content. RWEA members have a 30% discount.
- 15 February, RWEA Workshop organized by RWEA exclusively for its members, is a full day workshop that provides the companies the opportunity to present their products and services. Over 150 people attended this event at its previous edition. In 2012 it will be organized at Ramada North.
- 2 March, Bucharest, General Assembley Meeting (AGA) for members only, is a meeting in which RWEA staff presents a full report of activity for 2011 and objectives for 2012, a budget analysis and any other aspects of internal organization. Location to be announced.
- 10 or 17 or 24 May, Networking Evening in Bucharest. RWEA members have shown interest for the artistic activities linked with our networking events, therefore in 2012 the first cocktail will be held together with a classical music, theatre or painting exhibition event. Location to be announced.
- 15 June, Wind Day, Bucharest and other locations. This event under the auspices of EWEA has been organized by RWEA since 2009 but 2012 is the first year we have the occasion to organize the Open Doors for Wind Farms – visits in Constanta, Tulcea or Moldova area together with the press conference and promotional activities. This year we envisage an educational component with a drawing contest for schools in Bucharest. More details under Wind Day 2012.
- September, Romanian Wind Energy Forum, Constanta is the second edition of the event of the year for the wind industry in Romania. Over 400 people attended the first edition of the forum in 2011 and it was considered a success in terms of bringing together the main authorities involved in wind energy, the financial institutions and the business environment. The forum consists of two full days for conferences and exhibition.
