{"id":3289,"date":"2025-07-16T11:04:13","date_gmt":"2025-07-16T11:04:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rwea.ro\/event\/wind-open-day-a-8-a-editie\/"},"modified":"2025-08-07T11:11:55","modified_gmt":"2025-08-07T11:11:55","slug":"wind-open-day-a-8-a-editie","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/rwea.ro\/en\/event\/wind-open-day-a-8-a-editie\/","title":{"rendered":"Wind Open Day a 8-a editie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On June 16, RWEA organized the 8th edition of the <strong>Wind Open Day<\/strong>, bringing together over 150 participants \u2014 students, authorities, local community members, journalists, and industry experts \u2014 on the construction site of the <strong>VIFOR<\/strong> wind farm, one of Romania\u2019s most ambitious renewable energy projects.<\/p><p><strong>VIFOR<\/strong>, developed by Rezolv Energy, will be able to power up to 270,000 households and generate approximately 300 jobs during the construction phase, contributing to Romania\u2019s goal of reaching 6.5 GW of installed wind capacity by 2028.<\/p><p>The event was more than just a site visit \u2014 it was a hands-on demonstration of how education, innovation, and youth engagement can accelerate the energy transition.
